I am a theatre director based in the South of England with a passion for creating dynamic and diverse theatrical experiences. My work spans a broad range of genres, with a focus on pushing the boundaries of spectacle and challenging audience expectations. Collaboration is central to my practice, often partnering with movement directors to create highly physical, ensemble-driven performances and sound designers to craft immersive soundscapes that guide and deepen the narrative. At the heart of my approach is a commitment to placing the audience experience central to every production, taking audiences on an unforgettable journey.
My particular skillset and experience lies in new writing and development of new work, particularly of a political nature, along with verbatim theatre, adaptations and International playwrighting. I also have extensive experience and an un-ending passion for co-creating theatre with young people.
I lead the Propel Artist Development programme at MAST Mayflower Studios and Mayflower Theatre in Southampton delivering programmes and initiatives that support artists and the development of new work.
I am also on the Board of Trustees for the Corn Exchange Theatre in Newbury.
As a director I have presented work in various theatres and arts festivals including The Rose Theatre, The Egg, Royal and Derngate, The National Theatre, MAST Mayflower Studios, The Kings Theatre, Taunton Brewhouse Theatre, The Corn Exchange, Newbury, International Youth Arts Festival and Camden Fringe Festival.
